These are intended mainly for the older children in school and feature a range of music, drama language and sporting activities. The details vary each term and parents are notified separately as to the timing and specific arrangements. In the last academic year children have been able to participate in drama, football, tennis, cricket, rounders, rugby, French and chess.
All clubs are intended to develop an enthusiasm for sport and develop skills of team work, space awareness and improve the children’s movement skills.
A few facts...
- Clubs take place at Longwell Green school.
- Children are expected to come prepared for the weather and conditions by bringing suitable footwear for the playground and the field.
- Children will also require suitable PE kit.
- No jewellery should be worn.
- Long hair needs to be tied back.
