Instrumental Lessons

Children from years 4 to 6 have the opportunity to receive instrumental music tuition in school. The lessons cost £50 per term and are provided by the South Gloucestershire Music Service. We currently have 35 children receiving lessons on the flute, clarinet, violin and guitar. Children are able to take graded exams, if they wish to, when they have reached the necessary standard. There are several children who receive music lessons outside the school, particularly on the piano and keyboard. All these musicians are encouraged to perform to an audience in school during the year in assemblies and special school events.
