In the Reception classes children work on the Foundation Stage Curriculum. They develop their understanding and skills through enjoying teacher-led activities and planned play. Talking and listening to each other is very important at this stage. We have PE every Tuesday. We are supported by our TAs, Melanie Balch, Jayne Nicholls and Nicola George.
Our imaginative play area is set up as a French Cafe. We feel very grown up when we give orders to the waiters!

We have been listening to the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. We are growing beans in our classroom! Do you think they might be magic beans? We have made collages of ugly giants - scarey!

In ICT we have drawn self-portraits using the Interactive whiteboard and magic pen. It is very difficult!
