We are situated in the newly built section of the school and also have use of an outside maths area. We use this area to consolidate mathematical concepts in a very kinaesthetic way. We love using the interactive whiteboard and use it every day. Games takes place outside (weather permitting) on a Tuesday. PE takes place in the hall on a Thursday.
Mrs Hatcliffe and Mrs Tovey are the learning support assistants attached to Year 1.
In science we have been looking at different materials and find out about their properties. We are making little information books with all the information we have found out.

Here we are learning how to take away one amount of money from another amount of money. We will be able to check our change when we go shopping!
