We are situated in the newly built section of the school and also have use of an outside maths area. We use this area to consolidate mathematical concepts in a very kinaesthetic way. We love using the interactive whiteboard and use it every day. Games takes place outside (weather permitting) on a Tuesday. PE takes place in the hall on a Thursday.
Mrs Hatcliffe and Mrs Tovey are the learning support assistants attached to Year 1.
In science we have been looking at different materials and find out about their properties. We are making little information books with all the information we have found out. Look at our fantastic 'joined up' handwriting. Some of us used dictionaries to find definitions for some of the materials
