What is the Friends of Longwell Green School
The Friends of Longwell Green Primary School consists of Parents, Guardians, Grandparents, Teachers, School Staff and friends connected with the school. Every Parent/Guardian and Teacher automatically becomes a member of the “Friends” when they join the school.
Why?
Unfortunately the School budget does not stretch to pay for everything and therefore we attempt to raise the required funds to “plug the gap” to assist in providing a well-rounded education for all of our children.
The major fund-raising events include:
- Summer Fayre (June),
- Festive Fayre (November).
