PUPIL PREMIUM

How the premium was/ will be spent |
Effect of spending on attainment of FSM pupils |
2011-12
Amount received: £10,448 |
Teaching assistants supporting groups of children, including children receiving Free School Meals (FSM), identified as not making sufficient progress in writing and maths. |
Average progress of FSM pupils in writing across the school was in line with non-FSM pupils;
Average progress of FSM pupils in maths across the school was slightly better than non-FSM pupils;
Average progress of FSM pupils in reading across the school was slightly lower than non-FSM pupils.
Although average performance was generally in line with non FSM pupils, we also recognise where there was accelerated progress and slower progress and steps have been taken in 2012-13 to ensure the best provision for all pupils. |
