Year 4 at Bristol v Stade Francais - 2007
In November some of the Year 4 after school tag rugby club were lucky enough to go to the Memorial Stadium and watch Bristol v Stade Francais in the Heineken Cup. A game shown live on Sky Sports.
Due to the heavy rain they were unable to play a demonstration game before the game but they were lucky enough to carry out a lap of honour before kick off. They were cheered and applauded as they walked around the ground. They also formed a guard of honour for the players, some of whom had recently performed at the Rugby World Cup.
A great display by Bristol in dreadful conditions ended with a 17-0 victory for Bristol. The children really enjoyed their experience so thanks to Bristol Rugby for letting us come and enjoy the afternoon.
